Live Setup Help Needed

OK I have connect my XBox to my Ethernet card in my PC by an Ethernet cable, and I do have broadband.
But now I need to find out my IP Address, Subnet mask AND Gateway. Any help in how I can find these things out?

what you first do is go to Start>Run>type in cmd(this should bring up the command dos prompt)>type in ipconfig


This should tell you your ip address,subnet mask,and gateway

Yeah it took me like 2 hours and 3 calls to 1-800-4MY-XBOX to get XBL up and working for me.

I suggest that you call 1-800-4MY-XBOX

As far as I knw its free to call and they offer very good help with a range of different xbox problems.

Well I got it working.

After an hour or so trying to figure it out I found out all I needed to do was to set up my PC to share the broadband connection with the LAN connection to my XBox. And Hey presto.

so I am now LIVE, as they say...
