Has anyone heard of this game? From the videos I've seen the physics and graphics are amazing. It's planned for a December 2004 release.

Here's some videos: Trailer (http://www.gametrailers.com/gt_vault/t_hollow_gp.html)

If it doesn't work then go to www.gametrailers.com. There's more videos at Hollow (http://games.zootfly.com/hollow/index.htm)

Check it out, it's pretty awesome.

Here's some info on the multiplayer:

Multiplayer
The Hollow’s unique game play elements will stir up the LAN/Internet multiplayer first-person action game market.
The Hollow - Multiplayer will be equally attention-grabbing as the single player version, featuring, among other, three opposing forces instead of only two: Centropean Police Forces, Rebels of the Mirror City and DED Neanderthals. Teams will play against each other or form alliances against the third team, but ultimately there can be only one winner. Members of the team that was destroyed first will be able to choose sides between the remaining two teams and respawn in their camps.
The classic game types, such as capture the flag, team deathmatch, co-op, VIP rescue and conquest will be spiced up with the following unique features.

Undercover Actions
Any team member will be able to go undercover during the mission. This will enable playing double agents and getting important information from the other side, infiltration, sneaking and undercover commando-like actions. The player will be able to take a role of a spy, or take clothes of a fallen opponent, effectively assuming their identity, and infiltrate enemy positions.

POWs
Taking prisoners of war will add a new dimension to tactics and strategy planning. The captured player won’t be able to spawn for an extended amount of time (approx. one minute), handicapping the opposing team. Conversely, the team that captured the POW will have an easier task of advancing in the battle with one less enemy to worry about. POWs can shorten their confinement significantly by treason: revealing enemy positions. Their location will be marked on the map for a few moments for the capturers to see, and then fade out.
However, taking POW is not possible on the enemy territory. Of course, teams will be able to rescue their POWs in daring actions.

Taking Hostage
Players will be able to take an opposing player hostage. This will add a remarkable new dimension to gameplay. Imagine a battle raging between two or three teams, but in a remote base there is a tense hostage drama underway. A player sneaked into an enemy base and now holds one of the opponent’s hostages. The hostage must survive; otherwise the player who’s been taken hostage won’t respawn for some time. On the other hand, the deadlock doesn’t help anybody. What to do? Call for a sniper to eliminate the hostage taker or opt for the Russian alternative of commando assault?

Play Dead
Players will be able to fake their deaths, laying down as if they are dead to increase chances of survival and add entertaining and fun side of realism to the multiplayer experience. Players will be able to toggle between play dead and active modes. However, no action is possible while playing dead, except for looking around.

Revival Kit
Players will be able to use a Revival kit. When a team player is shot dead in the game, a teammate can revive them using the kit. Healed comrade will be able to fight on, but the player who used the kit will lose some of their health. This feature will strengthen the team spirit among players and improve tactics possibilities.

Ammunition Sharing
Each player will have a chance to borrow ammunition from a teammate if needed. The player who will lend ammunition will give away one third of their remaining ammo. Again, this will strengthen elements of team spirit and tactics.

It may, but with all of the other great shooters coming out in 2004 (Halo, Half Life, Doom) it might not stick out.

It might since those are expected on the first half of 2004. This is for December 04. The only way it'll get overshadowed is if all of the them are pushed way back to winter 04. Right now I care about Deus Ex since it comes on December 3rd 2003. Hopefully it will stick out and possibly create a series.
