made up game types.

K, the DL content thread gave me an idea. Its ovious that why RS3 is a kick ass game and the definitive LIVE title out right now...it is lacking modes.

I thought..why not make some ourselves.
listen to my idea...and respond with comments...critisism , suggestions..or plain flames if u think its dumb.

sometimes while playing paintball..we play president.
rules are simple.
before the match...each team desiginates a President.
both teams know who the other person president is.
(could possibly deifne the look of the president by wearing or not wearing a gasmask...or a specific and uncommonly used weapon combo).
the goal is to kill the other teams president first whil protecting your own.

first team to have their PREZ killed loses.

Lets call this game type DEAD PREZ.

whatcha all think?

We can aslo have a type game where u have capture some kinda base

It sounds good. But I don't think the President should be able to have anything more than a pistol. He should also have say, 150% health. Also, a completely different outfit. That would be better, in my opinion. :)

thats a great idea.


and as i said...he should be either the only member wearing ...or not wearing a gas mask...for identification purposes.

now...someone mentioned summin aobut being able to change your soldiers appearance...i still don't know where to find this option. Also, are the different appearances really all that notable?

i think it would be easy to recognize the prez if he was using the pistol.

Ford, thing is, these are modes made up by us. We can't change the uniform poeple are wearing.

I like these ideas DZ. We should have an all XBA game sometime and try some of the ideas out.

Dark mentioned a mode where you have to take over the base. That is perfect for the inner-city training map. The one with the tunnels and red and green bases facing eachother, where noobs snipe out of the windows.

We could call it infiltration. One team defends, lets say the red team. The green team has to infiltrate the red teams base, basically like normal team deathmatch, except the red team cannot leave the vicinity of thier own base.

That could lead to some pretty friggin sweet fire fights and tactical moves.

Wow these are all great ideas boys. I love both Prez. and the Infiltration ideas. We Should have one of the good ol' XBA XBL meets where we test stuf flike this out.

yo dz...you can only change the way your face looks.


when in a game, or not in a game, go to options.

i think you have to go to the xbox live options tab next and then look closely.........the 2nd option to change ish will be there.....it won't be a yes or no type thing, you will have to choose it and it will take you to where you can change your facial appearance.

Great idea DZ. I think someone in another thread mentioned a game type called "Pilot" that was on the PC. Sounded similar to "President" except you need to escort your pilot to a specific area on the map. That'd be cool.

I wish we could get (or simulate) a CTF game mode. I love CTF!

Capture the flag might have a chance of being ok in RS3, but something is telling me it would suck. Just doesn't seem right.

Anyhow, DZ, you have to go to options, then xbox live options, in there you will see a tab that says "Change Adversarial Appearance" click it and it will bring up a list of pictures, select which one you want to look like.

Not really a game type, but a few of us had some fun on peaks tonight.

We all agreed to take nothing but Mac-11's and pistols and meet behind the house w/ the fence.

I don't hate peaks, but we only had 6-7 people in game, made the time till the map change go much faster and was actually pretty fun. Guess lower weapons always mix it up, but I thought it was particularly good for what can be a very boring map.
