im kinda worried that all xbox games will be without blood and stuff since the xbox is produced by ms and they wont allow those kinda games ( they wouldnt wanna destroy their rep.)

its not like im depraved or anything, i just like violent games thats all. What are your thoughts?

Ps.perhaps their will be patches??

What about "Silent Hill 2" and "Hunter: The Reckoning"?

Don't those have gore?

Clever developers could use the parental lock feature to enable various levels of blood and gore.

Theres 3 of the most gory/violent games ever made, and 2 of the 3 are already available, with the third coming soon. :)

microsoft doesnt care about those games. youre probly thinking about nintendo. nintendo is the sissy company that wont allow blood and gore. take a look at mortal kombat on the snes, it didnt have any blood but the sega version did. microsoft is trying to appeal to a older group of people. which is probly why they put the parental lock on the xbox, so they could release any kind of game, but it was up to the parents to allow the kids to play it.

The xbox has Parental lock. Mature games should not be an issue.

Hey! Tony Hawk Pro SKater 2x has quite a bit of blood for a "kid friendly" game. Also features quite a bit of skin on the buildable female characters. Put a chick in the bikini, with tattoos, and use the Kid Mode cheat and it's borderline kiddie porn. :D

Well i watched EXTRA 2 days ago and Bill Gates was on the show promoting the XBOX. He said that after the 9 - 11 tragedy that he rethought of what the XBOX games should be and he said " i don't want violence in the gems anymore ". I don't know if his company will not do vilolent games or he's talking about all the companies that will produce games for his system. Well at least now we know where Bill stands on that subject. But i don't think it's a good move on his part. What do you think ?????

hes probly just trying to look like a nice guy. the xbox will have very violent games in the months to come (brute force, doom 3, gta3, and many others). the reason why the xbox will have really violent games is because of the parental control, which allows developers to make the game as violent as they want and still be able to sell the game.

Looking for games without blood, look for gamecube. X-Box has and will have games with blood and gore, so don't worry.

well i do.......and my worries goes towards the gaming-industry as a whole, who i fear will tone down games for the sake of worried parents and governments around the world

yea, but they wont have to tone down the games for the xbox, it has the parental control so the parents can make the decisions

yea i know dude, but my point is ; if the xbox gets a bad rep. because of violent games, parents would hesitate to buy it, parentel lock or not. Now i dont think ms would like that......
But we´ll see, i hope all you guys are right!

I think all this will happen after we capture Osma Bin Laden, Then we will want to see voilence everywhere. CNN, FOX they are all gonna have osma bin ladens execution on it, hopefully we take his nuts make him eat them. Remove his tounge and attach it to his ass, then we remove is little johny and nail it to the top of his mouth so he has to remind himself everyday hes a **** face. Then the worst of all......... Shave that **** UGLY ASS BEARD ;-) Umm...Anyone watch Care Bears before?

your funny and all, but this is the mentality parents think video-gaming gives us when playing violent games.

yea, thats true, but microsoft targets the system towards older people. older kids usually buy the system for themselves, the parents dont buy it for them. and parents who have kids who are 15 and up usually dont care what games they play. when i was like 13, i could play any game i wanted to.
