can anyone recommend a cheaper DSL or cable service provider that can get FASTER speeds, charter sucks!:( :cuss:

Yo, u live in Louisiana?? Morristown is 3 min away from me. I also have charter.

I have been hearing great things about charter. Really fast rates for 21 a month.

Har har, I have So cal charter, which rocks. They've upgraded our connection from 256k down/ 128 up to 2mb down/128up, free for 6 months. After that, we'll have to pay $10 more than usual, which is very reasonable.

i have mediacom......in bluffton indiana.

so far i have been really fortunate.

1.5mb down and 128k up.

all of my xbox live games have worked without a hitch.

I live in Northwest Tn. I'm also a very satisfied Charter customer -I think it flies, and wouldn't dream of using anyone else. Sorry to hear about your misfortune with them. I have however heard good things about Comcast, and Earthlink. You may want to check into those.
