Does anyone have any reliable information about the systemlink capabilities for Halo2? Will you be able to link 16 xboxes with 1 player per, or will it still be 4 xboxes with 4 players per?

u mean you dont have halo 2 yet?

OMG.....go to your local game store and pick it up.......

*points and laughs at the new guy......

jk.....welcome to the xba forums......as far as the system link options i'm sure they are the same as the original halo, it just makes more sense to have 4 xboxs with 16 people than 16 of em

It sucks splitting a screen though. I have a BIG basement. I have 4 tvs down there between 21 and 32 inches and room for more. I don't necessarily have to hook 16 up, but I'd like to hook 7 or 8 up for a better multiplayer environment.

That would be awesome to do something like that in your basement...But I think you can only go with 4 xboxs. If you could do that 16 Xbox thing, more powah to yas...But I riLLLllLLy don't think so.

But you wont have to worry on that for another 5 or 6 months....so ah well.:p

It is, there are plenty of great games out right now to keep my mind off of that one sequel.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the official system link cables by Microsoft only allow four Xbox's to be connected.

By golly, you're right! Yeah I figured that was the way it was, but I didnt want to say anything because I was unsure. I don't do soo much system linking, but when I have done it...Its sooo much fun. Anyway Yeah HALO2 will be awesome, but ill be able to stomach the wait somehow.

32 player capabilities for Halo2, I am pretty sure about that. For the original it's 4 boxes max of 16 total. For Halo2, will it be 8 box max or can a bunch of singles join for larger than 4v4(8 xboxes of singles).

Id say it would since Halo was a big favorite because of System-Link play. Halo 2 probably wil with new options, and new game types. As for direct info from Bungie or M$ I dont have any, but I think its safe to say that it will be there.
