LOL, I coul'nt agree with you more. Im not one to bash a developer/publisher but I hate EA Sports 4-life!
All they have done since the end of the Genesis lifewas rehash every sports title they have ever had and port it to everything and it's grandmother!

For real sports action with innovation, revolution, and true updated features every year with no lazyness try anything Sega Sports! The 2K series is da best in da biz! :D

Madden rules as far as I am concerned, the gameplay is more realistic that any other football game out there.

Lol, I think the Madden 2002 music is tight. That nice Hip-Hop flavor goes good with the NFL. But it would've been great if you could rip your own songs onto the game.
