How can i hook up an Xbox to the setup in the picture?

There aren't too many options here.

Red cable goes to red socket.
White cable goes to white socket.
Yellow cable goes to yellow socket (or directly into your television).

No, Use S-Video...At least it says S-Video there but I cant tell if there is really a input or not with all that dust. If there is get the Advanced AV Pack.

I don't see an S-Video connection on this receiver. However, if your TV supports S-Video you can run the video cable directly to your TV using the Advanced AV pack, as Frostberg suggests.

Its on the very bottom left, dont look for the input, look for the white lettering. The input is partially covered by dust so i can see how it can be missed, maybe if a picture was taken that wasnt loking down on the inputs might help as well

Does his tv have s-video? I assume that is an old receiver or is that actually the back of his tv?
