It took me alot longer, look for a set of crates that you can jump up to the 2nd lvl.

There should be some crates with fire behind them jump up there and go through the sceond floor door. When you get through the door you should come to an area with a flickering light bridge. keep walking across past the bridge and go through another door.

U can tell you're not new to FPS games when you can beat Halo w/ out ever getting lost... I was sorta surprised that I was able to beat it w/ out getting lost once, I almost always get lost about 1 or 2 times on PC shooters.

The only problem I had in Halo was in the canyon, when you have to use the banshee to get back thru the canyon in order to get to that platform only accessible by an air vehicle. The first time I got there, I lost my banshee when fighting the flying bots. I kept running around trying to find another banshee, but mine got stuck on a cliff up high. I had to restart the game from the last saved place in order to attempt it again. Luckily my last save was before I hopped in the banshee.

if you make your way back to the other end of the complex you'll find an elvator going down, then finally an elvator that leads all the way up where a platon of your men are waiting.

yea i thought it was stupid when people at ign complained about not having a radar or map. This defeats the purpose of not knowing your surroundings inside the ringworld. I mean, hell, the forerunner were thoughtful enough to leave white blinking arrows to tell you where to go to blow up the world they spent so long to build, so why would you need a map to show you the way ;). I, too, didn't get lost in this game. It was fairly easy, even on legendary. Even though on that difficulty MC seems to be made of glass and fires plastic bullets, it's not that hard to beat the hell out of the covy and flood if you have some strategy and patience.

My friend and I got stuck at that same level in co-op mode. In the area where the big crate with dead bodies. We got kinda ticked so tried something. I jump on his shoulders then on to the floor, then I made it to a check point and it zaped me with him :)
