How many of your games are Platinum Hits?

1 out of my 2 xbox games are platinum hits and that one is amped.....also, FYI, the other game is Shenmue 2 (only 5 bucks brand new at Target, what a steal!)

Maybe this is the best place to ask this. Is there any difference game or package wise with buying the Platinum Hits games over the regular package games??

the platinum hits games feature a platinum looking case and the cd itself has platinum hits written on it....the manual is the same as if it were in a green case....



to answer the original question, i have several platinum hits but only 1 features the platinum look (simpsons road rage)....i like to get the green cases...games like silent hill 2 i have green cases for. and mech and recon.

WOW 5 bucks? it's $19.99 at Shopko and it's not even platinum. Walmart does not even have shenmue2. I should go to target and buy a bunch for 5 bucks and sell them:D

5 out of 26 games have the case but all the games are in platinum cases but 15 of them can all be found for the same price as a hit or under right now so i consider them platinum hits.

The only platinum hit I have is Splinter Cell. It's in the green case though.

None of mine are. If I plan on purchasing a game, it's usually when it is just released, otherwise I usually just rent it. Though I did olmost buy Project Gotham Racing one time at Wal-Mart. :D

same here, if i can help it, i try not to buy the platinum hits games, i much rather the original packaging. I have a few that have become platinum, including oddworld, splinter cell, and i think ghost recon became one too.
