If you really want one then go to a cell phone store and pick up a headset for a cell phone. They are cheap, and they are better quality then XBL communicators and they work just as well! I dont personally have one but I know ppl that do and it works 100% for them!

ummmmm all I can tell you man is that it might not be your module..
I started having trouble with mine a few weeks ago....and all of the sudden...my favorite...controller..

my big fatty..just goes out..and I was left with my controller s's

but anyways..yeah...check your controller..and make sure it's cool first

well the thing is i never had the module in the 1st place...i bought an xbox live starter kit with the 12 free months for real cheap (like 12 bucks) but it didnt come with the module or headset...so ive been searching for one on ebay and such ...oh well might have to shell out the 29.99 to get one at walmart.

umm just a suggestion but u can get thr live headsets free....i have 5 of them, 4 broke.

look on the back of the starter kit and get the number for technical support and say that the clip on your live headset snapped and they mail you a free replacment.

or u can buy them in games shops but i got mine free :p
