well there is a difference between Gamers and those who play games ,
most of the people who voted were between 10-15 and just follow trends as to what is cool, believe it or not Most people who play games never even look at Scores or reviews of games, thats why so many bad games can make a buck , and why so many devolopers can make trash and make money ,

I thought VC was gong to take the award, I am going to watch the awards, but I know it's going to be filled with anoying Hip Hop ,

I voted after getting an email from Bioware asking to vote for KOTOR.

The options for games to vote on were limited and just not very good choices. I did write in votes for most catagories.

That and online voting is about the worst way to gage anything.

I agree with most of the winners, Except, Best Fighting, Best Hand Held, and Game of the year.

Best Fighting - Soul Calibur 2
Best Hand Held - FF Tactics
Game of the Year - I could care less, but i sure dont think it was Madden 2004

I am ok with the results. I dont think Best pc game is halo pc. Yeah the game is cool and all but i guess i am not impressed seeing how i have the xbox version. With madden winning i can understand that. There are tons of sports gamers out there. But game of the year.....yeah right.:watchout:

You know, I'm really glad that my wife and I aren't the only ones who were utterly horrified by the intelligence-insultingly bad show they put on. I doubt the producers of that POS show could even tell you the difference between a PS2, XBox, and Gamecube (which I don't remember being mentioned even once, though I may be wrong).

I dont know about halo pc getting the best pc game award. I think max payne 2 would have been a better choice but thats just me.

The VGA was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. It was trash. All it needed was Tina Turner and Mel Gibson to come out and we would have had Mad Max in the thunderdome all over again. It just sickened me. What do models, porn stars, wrestling, and cheerleaders have to do with video games? I pray the next video game awards will acctualy somewhat represent the people who play them. Maybe I just take it too seriously, but it felt like a smack in the face to me. However, DMX was cool.

the girls were all trying to hard but they were hot but the wrestling is teh most stupidest part of th show. I thought alot of awards sucks going to games that didn't deserve them. What is up with mags and spike tv and dead or alive xtreme beach volleyball. I swear tehy make it sound as if that is teh only game.
