I-Ninja ships for Xbox and GC

Microsoft and Nintendo versions of Namco's comic take on the ninja genre are retail bound.

Even though ninjas are technically supposed to be silent, Namco announced loudly today that I-Ninja has shipped for the Xbox and the GameCube. Unlike most titles about the silent Japanese assassins, the Argonaut Games-developed action game puts a humorous spin on the ninja genre. The story follows a hero, creatively named "Ninja," as he slashes his way through a passel of goofy villains with the help of a magical knickknack and a lifetime supply of throwing stars.

To learn more about I-Ninja, read GameSpot's review of the PlayStation 2 edition of the game, which arrived in stores last month. All versions are rated "T" for teen and retail for $39.99.

I would if my nephew liked it! I got the PS2 version for him, and don't bother getting it.

He played it once, took one look at me which basically said "****, uncle, what's gotten into you?"
