In previous Christmas celebrations, there has been a thread where you can write your own XBox Christmas rhyme! I'll kick off this year's thread and continue on this XBA Christmas tradition :D

'Tis, yet, another XBox Christmas for 2003
Playin' XBox Live with the boys of The D.D.C.

Smokin' all the foolios and kickin' 'em while their down
Reporting back to XBA regarding our kill spreeing crown

Pounding out posts with a leap and a hurl
Chattin' it up with the XBA dudes and the one XBA girl :D

Announcing new winners of the big ass giveaway
One tomorrow, one yesterday, and yes, one today

But it's not about the prizes that make this place so great
It's the members of XBA that come so early and post away until late

Chattin' with the XBA posse is what I love to do
But, better yet, playing vids on XBox Live with the entire XBA crew

Bustin' out the golden child game known as Rainbow Six: 3
Playing on XBox Live and going on a killing spree

Sippin' on a Guinness in between shots
Sportin' a creamy mustache and setting the glass between my crotch :eek:

Feelin' a little cold "downstairs" without taking a drink
Unvoluntarily making my manlihood tither and shrink

But, all of the sudden a moment of happy and glee!
I lift up my Guinness again because there was another kill for me!

Setting down the empty glass and a final lick of my lip
I noticed I have to urinate and suddenly I jump and I skip!

Bolting to the bathroom with a full load of blatter
I stare at the door and see something the matter!

The door is locked and my tongue starts to float
My eyes roll in the back of my head and my body starts to bloat!

But, running outside, what do I see?
A glorious fifteen foot evergreen tree!

Sprayin' away and trying not to hit my foot
Aiming at the bottom of the tree as I erode the ground and see root

Jumpin' back on-line with the boys of XBA
And a wish to them all for a great Christmas day!

ahh yes mikeman the days
I had alot of amaze
when I'd sit here all day
just posting away
I soon came addicted
and then came restricted.
After discovering the trading post
and using it the most (alot)
I soon racked up trades
I felt like the queen of spades
every week I had a new game
but a few of them were lame
as christmas time came
as of you, my ideas were the same
I would get MORE xbox titles
for the shipping for trades was causing some fightles
I had no more money
I lost my honey
I toned down the trading
and began fading (from the site)
BUT soon later I had more cash
I felt like doing the monster mash
I went out and bought my family their presents
I felt free as a bird, kind of like a pheasent
as christmas time came, and under the tree
I FOUND 3 XBOX GAMES (and more) oh what glee!
quickly beating the games I soon become bored
and then came back, to the xba horde

so what do you guys think? pretty bad huh? haha I like maxies though

Reading the entire song is what I enjoyed most

Sittin' here tonight just past eleven

Watching the pathetic Seahawk game highlights...ah, criekies!
Feelin' the pain as their asses got kicked by the Minnesota Vikings

But the pain never lasts long when I'm here at my XBA home

Twas the month before Christmas, when all through the site
Seems everyone got caught up in one huge uber-fight.
But soon things calmed down and on went the day
Some un-noteables gone but our best members stay!

Speaking of best, give our mod team some credit:
They've seen problems and work and diligantly met it.
Countless hours they toil moderating and writing
And dealing with you bums who can't seem to stop fighting.

Of course it would mean nothing if you all weren't here,
So here's to XBA members, and to that I'll crack a beer.
We're glad that you're here, and hope you'll all stay
for the fun and the laughter (and the big-ass giveaway) ;)

So lets hang a wreath from the XBA site header
And marvel in awe as we watch XBA get better!
Because with the effort of XBA staff and our members
I'm sure we are all going to have a great december.

Sitting here wondering what XBox games are to be under my tree

Rallisport Challenge is one that I hoped will arrive
Smashin' into my XBA brethren over XBox Live

I hear PGR 2 is an absolute must buy
I don't have it yet...why?! Oh why?!?

I'm waiting patiently for December 25th
Where I'll be on XBL playing in a jiff

I hope to see some XBA brethren on at that time
Instead of sitting here reading my rhymes

But, don't think it's an excuse to step away from XBA
Think of it as a temporary delay, if you may

I'm sitting here trying to think of rhymes as I pull them out of my ass
Sitting here drinking an ice cold Guinness Draft out of a glass

The aroma of true crafted beer is enough to make me moan
The enjoyment of my tastebuds being flooded with a mustache made of foam

But, it's not foam in the true beer sence of the term
It's more like a cream that you'll definately love to learn

Tomorrow happens to be Friday which only means great things
Only one day left for work until the weekend of gaming dreams

Christmas lights are up hanging up glistening on my house
My tree is set up but my cat is playing with bulbs fallin off as if it was a mouse :eek:

You guys seriously only play Xbox games? There are good games on all platforms. Fanboy central.. I Love xbox, I love xbox live, But I also love ps2, PC, gamecube, heck even turbo graphix 16 gets some play from time to time.

There was a loud commotion, That would easily frighten a mouse.
With a Explosion here and a Gun Blast there.
There sat Saint Nick and SniperPete, Spreading Rainbow cheer.
They sat there and boozed all the night threw.
Saint Nick had to play for hours to catch up with our L337 Crew.
Then before long saint nick had expired. (fell asleep)
And SniperPete became tired.
He drug the fat boy up to his slay.
He was so heavy it was as if he was made of clay.
SniperPete gave the old boy a kick in the ass.
And said next time we play video games u better pass.

Tonight is a night of great joy.
For i have recived a new xbox toy.
PGR2 for my playing pleasure.
My heart beats so fast i can hardly measure.
I slide around the corner with great finess.
I hit the wall, Now theres a mess.
I snap open a cold Miller Lite
Pop in CS and join the fight.
I rush to the bomb site to plant the goodies.
Why are the Terroists dressed in hoodies? :watchout:
I plant the bomb and watch the CT's sprint.
I reach in my pocket to only find pocket lint. :huh:
Now I fear this rhyme must end.
For I must push Submit so it can send.

I come to XBA and see one confused ass new-bie

What the site doesn't say is PS2 or GC
And it definately doesn't say anything to do with PC

This is the site where the true addicts come
Kickin' back playin' vids while drinkin' coke and rum

The PS2 is over three years old
Mine sits outside in the rain growing some mold

The GC is for kiddies for cutie game lovin'
It's only reminscient of a Barbie Easy Bake Oven

The PC is in a gaming world altogether
The closest console to it is the XBox, however

But, I enjoy my XBox far more than I enjoy to PC game
Some may disagree, but, sitting in an office chair, to me, is lame

I like to kick back and snuggle my ass right on the couch
Sitting back a distance from my big screen tv with a beer to my mouth

But, the XBox inspired me to purchase a 50" HDTV
Playing in widescreen is not likely on the PC

Not to mention my 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound
While the PC supports in, that office chair makes your ass pound

But, the bottom line is that this is a site for XBox Addicts
Not for getting cuddly with a PoS2 fanatic

And, as a reminder for the XBA brethren that come hear nearly every day

I raise my glass to maximus for speaking the truth.
While that other guy is punching tickets at the PS2 fan boy booth.

And that game cube is silly and way to tall.
I bought one once and took it right back to the mall.

And as for the PS2 it is old and obsolete.
Id like to go back in time on the PS2 project and push Delete.

Xbox is the system that deserves all our attention.
The real place to find a PS2 is at the out of date convention.

So once again I wish you all a great christmas day.
Ps2 and game cube suck, What can I say.

So here I sit, controller in hand,
and wandering when Pete will declare me the man
Cuz he knows I'll kill him, in a Counter strike fight
making him spill his precious Miller Lite.

So I'll tap my glass, and propose a toast
for in a bit it is christmas, with parties to host.
And when the sleigh bells are ringing,
and the carrolers are singing
I'll be laughing my butt off,

I dont care if he likes to boast.

So now I go back to playing my games.
G-W scratched my Halo , He's to blame.

Dam this revenge is so very sweet.
And now im afraid G-W is beat.

So now I log off of this wonderful site.

O' thank lord the week is over
like I found a four leaf clover
'bout time I could chill with a frosty one
take a pull off the pipe and act the bum

so I surf the boards to chill and kill some time
see what's up w/ these fellow Addicts of mine
looks like some new faces and a bunch of the old
way my week went I might sit here till I mold

my ass in the chair my feet in the air
Christmas around the corner right there
it's hard to believe 2003 is at a close
the games have come and some have been gold

but next year looks to be a platinum one
all the best Xbox games are soon to come
so with a smile I stick around XBA a while
catching a buzz and playing my Xbox w/ style

zapping robots and cracking The Order's codes
I play 'em all on the most difficult modes
'cuz I'm a gamer and will be until I croak
so clink your glasses and have yourself a toke

and thank your lord the week is over
like finding a handful of four leaf clovers

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
in hopes that a new Xbox title, soon would be there

I knew Santa was cool, he had an Xbox too
he doesn't like the GameCube nor the PS2
He likes racing and sports and first-person shooters
all played on the Xbox instead of computers

He's been seen online, I think his tag is St. Nick
I heard he beats them all and he's best in Rainbow Six
Santa's no dummy, he know's Xbox is best
he's waiting for Halo2, just like the rest of us

Yeah, Santa is cool and I have to agree
we're very much the same, him and me
We love playing our games on XboxLIVE
and we love XboxAddict, it's the best site online
