I was woundering if anybody else is wanting this as much as me. It comes out in like march or feb. Its gonna be the best rpg of 2004. IMO. post what u think about it

I wouldn't go as far as saying the best RPG of 2004...maybe if a new final fantasy comes out, that game could be a fierce competitor...but oh well, as my sig shows, i think Fable will rock WOO

Final Fantasy is the 'old version RPG'. Fable on the other hand is the new version cos it allows you to become who you want to be. Deus Ex 2 is the same and I want this type of level of freedom it has to offer.

Yeck, I wouldn't imagine a FF game breaking new ground... like Fable intends to do. I'm excited, but it's taking so long... so I'll have to hang up my hype jacket until any official release is announced.

I think it'll be best RPG ever. it's like the next generation of RPGs. U can get cuts that eventually turn into scars, and there's just so much more in this game than in a normal RPG. I bet it'll get delayed coming out though :( .

Fable is a big reason I bought the Xbox. I was gonna go w/ a PS2 because they have a buttload of RPG's, but Fable and BC alone sold me on the Xbox. Of course, at the time I thought they'd be out by now. :(

Oh well, too many games to play as it is. I've got so many new games I've played only partially. Guess I best get cracking before the biggies start dropping this Spring.

yeah i really hope its online but after all that stuff they have crammed into the game i dont think it will be able to handle online capabilitys. Imagine having a world of ego's in fable, that would be awesome.

yeah me neither, judging by the screens i think they might have worried too much on the graphics and the gameplay may be bad. im not too sure but i dont think it will live up to the hype either.

oh tell me about it RAW is the worst wrestling game ever made. Yeah it is good on graphics but the gameplay sux. i do hope that fable doesnt concentrate on visuals too much and produces some sweet gameplay.

Jade is supposed to be out Winter 2004, while Fable is estimated to be a Spring release.

im not sure. Yeah the hype will die down soon just like the hype about other games such as Half life 2 and halo 2 may die down..im not to sure about the hype about halo dying down tho.

Bioware only started making Jade Empire so I think Fable will be out first.

If fable lives up to the hype it'll be the greatest RPG on Xbox, along with Morrowind in a close second. If it doesn't it'll be a dissapointment because the game sounds really good. Still, only time will tell.:watchout:

Im getting both, but the reason it may or may not do as well, is cause soon as people find out there is a fee to play, they whine about already paying for internet+live, etc etc... (waits for some of those whines now...)

Is it going to be a MMORPG like the PS2's Everquest? I don't see why there would be a monthly fee otherwise.

Fable might be hard to do online since the world centers around 1 person, but it could be cool to be able to import frinds characters into your world and visa versa.

I've been following it for a long time and can't wait until it comes out. I really have a hard time believing that any FF game could touch it, but then again- I don't understand how anyone could sit down and play one of those lame games. :confused:

Halo was the reason I bought my xbox. Lets not forget B.C. out for the xbox also. Fable looks to be one of the top 3 or 4 games of next year, Halo 2/Halflife 2 are some of the other ones that I am waiting for. Fable looks very original and the sheer replayability is going to hard to beat.

I look for reply value if i play full price for a game. I think if i pay $50 for a game, it better amuse me for a good while. If i get it used and for cheap i dont mind. Games i buy used are for my ps2. Just games i wanted to buy that i wanted to complete but counldt afford. I'm still awaiting for Marvel VS Capcom 2 to go to about $20 or less.

Fable is going to be an amazing game. It's been on my list of most anticipated for quite some time now. 2004 just can't come soon enough.
