RS3...I'm blown away!!!!

I recieved RS3 on the weekend; it came in a box with the headset, 2 mos of Live (which I currently do not subscribe to), and, of course, the game. I hated Ghost Recon. First of all, I'm not too crazy about the 3rd person thing, but, in addition to that, I felt the flow of the game was interrupted by always having to place your guys. The voice control in RS3 is fantastic. It might not work in every situation, but more often than not, it works well. I just have to take my hat off to the creators of this game, It is as much fun as I've had since Halo. I can't wait to get online with this!

Truely is a fantastic game! And, just wait until you get online with it and play co-op! That's some of the best gaming I've done in a long time. Add me as a friend when you set up your LIVE account and we'll try to hook up for a game.

Oh, I guess Ghost Recon wasn't 3rd person...D'uh, I work down at the Quarry... Oh well, I still think this game is heads and shoulders above Gost Recon. I'd like to play you online Frag Master B, thanks for the invite man. Can you campaign together online?

Yes you can Campaign together online. Thats the best part of the online experience of this game IMO. I'll keep a lookout for you.

(BTW - When you add me, make sure you enter it right. "FragMaster B" , not "Frag Master B"). I don't wanna miss you because of a technicality.

Dude, you can totally give your sqad commands with the headset. In any given scenario, there are only a few things you can do. If you press the "A" button, it lists the things; however, you don't have to toggle the selections with the joystick, once you know what's available, all you have to do is say it into the mic, and you sqad does what you say. It's freakin' brilliant!!! This game is a MUST BUY!!

I love the game too. I only rented so I have it a limited of time. I hope I get it for Christmas. The online play is great. I couldn't put the controller down basically.

Salmonator, if you think the campagin is good...you'r gonna flip when you play it on LIVE. It is truly incredible. I've logged over 100 hours, and I still can't stop playing.

not to mention what some people may consider "the enemy" but...so you're saying this is like the xbox version of socom?

Thats so cool! i saw the commands in a magazine, but wasnt sure if it was talking commands. I want that game sooo bad

Im not new to xbox... im new to owning one.. And rb6 3 was my FIRST game i ever owned.... Its awsime gfxs, scenrios and the all around game rocks.. i give it a 4.8... the only thing i dont like it how you shoot at a guy you dont hit the guy... but you do...i dunno... its just me.. im differnt... This is a must have game for the xbox live person. You can give voice commands or action button commands, or you can use both. If you do not have this game you are not a Xbox head. This by the way is not a knock off of socom ps2 people can just dream of this kind of game while I play it night after night.

:rofl: I actually had fun w/ MA last night. I was thrashing these kids left and right. Also got some sick games of Crimson in, too. It was just too damn cold out for me to drive halfway 'cross town for Rainbow.

Anybody care to give some brief details on the muliplayer aspect of R63?

Basically, You got adversarial games and co-op games. I've played very little of the adversarial type, so I'll someone else chime in on those.

The co-op/Mission mode is a blast. Basically, you team up with up to 3 other guys to form a 4 man SWAT team. Your team goes through missions together to accomplish tasks like diffusing bombs, rescueing hostages, etc. It's a really nice experience and working together is a must. This is the kind of game LIVE was made for IMO.

Adversarial, would be you and a bunch of friends (up to 8) are on one team going against another bunch of guys to beat each other. You work together (or at least try to) just like in Co-op, and you have to beat the other team. Only problem is if your aim's not good...you might not last long.

yea, about the aim thing, i may not be good at it, but u'll get used to it in no time. i would start of with the g3a3 rifle to get some experience. then move onto the famas. the famas is a 2x zoom as the g3a3 is the 3.5x zoom. but u can try any weapons u want to pick the best. my fav is the famas. :cheers:
