Tiger Woods 2004 Cheat Codes

Anyone know how to make these work? I have the codes and have entered them but nothing happens? Do you need a mod chip or something else on the system to make these work or is it hit or miss in regard to their being effective? Thanks for any help.

if the code works properly when u enter it u should hear tiger say something its really low so listen close
