Dude, it's worth buying. But, I have to admit, this is not worth renting at all. Why? Because it had to grow on me at first. It took about an hour to have it grow on me...after that, I was hooked! And, it has about 80 hours worth of gaming on it to beat it...and that's if you knew where you were going the whole time! Azurik is much like the Zelda games but, in my opinion, it has better graphics and there is a hell of a lot more fighting in it. It's a very challenging game that you cannot take a long break away from, otherwise, you could get lost :D

Not as good as its predescessor, but still a great game. Very slow going in the beginning, but once you get about 30 minutes into the game, it's pretty much a non-stop fright fest.

Even though it is quite short (6-10 hours to complete) I would label this game an "owner" as opposed to a "renter" due to the fact that it has a total of 5 different endings, multiple difficulty modes, unlockable weapons, and more. Has tremendous replay value, IMO.

This game is the first of its kind on Xbox, so unless you've owned other consoles, I really can't compare it to anything currently on Xbox. Very creepy game. The story was less than stellar at times, but for the most part it was quite enjoyable. If you like creepy, crawly, gory games....this is a must have. Resident Evil fans will definately enjoy it, and those who played the original game will also dig it, but they will most likely call the first game the better of the 2.

Wish I could help ya there, but unfortunately I have yet to plug this game in. Been extremely busy lately, and wouldn't be surprised if I don't get to touch this game until the weekend. I'll letcha know.

Ouch, dude! I have Azurik and I absolutely love this game! I don't have any other game like it in my library, therefore, it's a welcome addition. Other XBoxaddict members that own Azurik will agree that it is a solid game. I agree that it is no Halo and the camera can be a little challenging at times...but, now that I have the camera mastered, it is a solid game. I just keep thinking of how the Warthog drives in Halo...and whenever I am ready to fight, I just give a love tap to the right trigger so the camera is directly above and behind me.

Besides, Azurik never looked so good with the afro :D

I actually love Azurik. I will have to admit, though...it took me about one or two hours for it to grow on me. But, after you start uncovering stuff and progressing while getting additional powers and stuff, the game is utterly brilliant :D Though, one bad thing about it, the dude looks like a stiff ass corpse when he swims...but, if you can get passed that, the game is one of the most solid titles I have ever played

I only have one game :( :( and all of you have like 5 or 6. I have Amped. I am hopin to get Halo, NFL Fever, and Oddworld through someone i know that works at MS. Then save up my money, i have $25 plus a $10 gift certificate at my Software etc.Plus i am sellin my N64 and stuff w/ that for $140. That'll all be nice once i get all that.....then i'll have mulah to spend on xbox.

Fortunately, neither do I. If the game were constructed out of a softer, 3-ply material, perhaps then I could find a good use for it. :D

Did you see the OXM review of Azurik? I rarely agree with "professional reviewers" but the 3.7 they gave it is quite accurate, IMO.

Azurik is the best game I've played on the XBOX. Anyone who doesn't agree with me is obviously wrong. :D

However, I will admit that I use the "save anywhere cheat" quite liberally. There can be many obstacles between save platforms and the game is way too hard (for me) to have to replay large chunks of the game several times just to get through a tough area.
