Anyone else have this game? I got it this weekend and spent hours playing through the career mode. Very fun game and can't wait to get on XSN and play.

Looks like there are lots of tournaments and tours going on for this as well.

I rented it and am having a helluva time trying to get past the serve training...aggravating!!

Anyways, I'm gonna go out and buy this - it's hella fun to play.

Great game !

Just won Australian Open, French Open and UK Open in a row yesterday so that my self-created male player is now ranked number 1 ! :D

Starting with my female player this week...

You made yourself quite a player there! ;)

I did find it kind of odd that was able to get myself into the top 10 with only playing one pro tournament. Still, it's the best tennis game I've played since... pong!

Online it all depends on your opponent.
If you'd play your first match against an experienced player, you might well end up pretty disappointed. But it's by playing online that you really learn new things/ways of playing. In career mode the variation in the games becomes a bit monotone after a while. Most matches are very easily won (3-0 3-0 until the final in most cases). Only the fnials tend to be a bit harder, but once you've mastered the technique you'll hardly lose a match. This of course is completely out of the question, since everyone plays different.

Anyway, online you'll get the most fun out of the game when you find an opponent of almost the same level as yourself...

For those who are interested in online tournaments, check out ETS TOUR (http://members.home.nl/etst/)

Whenever I go online it seems to go lag a bit, which makes it hard to successfully hit risk serves.

All of my other games seem to work well online.

Anyone else have this problem with this game?

There's a lot of people playing it online, over 75.000 for sure !
The single player game (career mode) may turn out to be a bit too easy, and can maybe get a bit boring, but the online-mode is what makes this game such a classic !

Briefly, it's the best tennis-sim ever ! Controls and gameplay are very detailed. In this aspect Top Spin can best be compared with Pro Evolution Soccer 3. They're both way ahead of the competition in their genre !
