Halo 2=ridiculously brilliant graphics

new weapons, vehicles, and enemies

Halo 2 is the better of the two(my opinion), but then again; I've never played many RPG's(except KOTOR) . Either way, just buy them both and have fun for the rest of your life. :)

Sorry, but Fable seems like so much hype, that it's not even funny. So many things have been promised and then taken out that I don't think anything is even going to end up in the final game. :(

What's the point in even discussing this? Assuming neither is a major dissapointment, will ANYONE who is even a casual fan of RPG's and FPS's choose ONLY one? I doubt it. They'll both be great games, the only question is which one will take up more of my time. That I cannot say.

Yay they're both great... but I'm more hyped up about Fable, right now. Halo2 just seems nonexistant to me, it seems like no Xbox game will ever be released. No hope for Halo2, even though there's talk about Fable for Xbox2... :yikes:

They are both very different games. To put an FPS up against an RPG is like putting apples up against staples.... there will never be a clear winner.

What is the point of this poll? If it is based on which one will be better. It depends on weather you have Xbox Live or not. If you dont, then Fable is or will be the better game. If you have Live, then it will be Halo 2. BTW, I didnt vote on this poll.

Fable is more of a evolutionary title which should (note the should) be the next step in action RPGs that all other will strive to emulate.


Halo 2 is going to be a great game, but won't bring much to the table that hasn't already been done. Halo is treated like its the first FPS ever among Xbox fans, but to be honest the only thing new it brought to FPS was some vehicular action to the SP FPS. Not to take anything away, because Halo was IMO the best game of the year (of its release) and had great game play and an awsome story, but having played FPS on PC since Wolfenstein 3D it really wasn't evo/revolutionary in what it did. Halo 2 won't be either. I guess maybe for the console it was a huge step for FPS, kind of like Golden Eye was.

I give it to Fable for the evolutionary step they are trying to take. Hoipefully they don't stumble;)


That being said I got Halo 2 pre-ordered for $10, Eheheheheheheheheh! Just traded in 3 crappy titles that would have given me $5 credit had it not been a special offer after Thanksgiving. I take back everything I said about Black Friday, its great if you shop about noon and go to a store that isn't crowed at all, like EB:D

Yeah, just like everyone else said, they aren't the same type of game, but I still voted for Halo 2 because multiplayer really makes games fun, eventhough I am buying both games.
