I feel your pain. I went to pick up my headset today and broke the piece of plastic that attaches the ear and mouth piece to the headband. I tried gluing it 3 times but it just wont stay. I tried to call ms and get a replacement but they only carry it under warranty for 3 months so I bit the bullet and bought a new one.

I used superglue to reattach mine.. Because mine broke to a way where super glue woulr help. Otherwise you can also you that wire and wrap it around your ear. Ive got a bunch of different ways to put on a broken headset. Im pro at it.

My headset broke in the exact same way a month ago, but I managed to fix it with a whole lot of hot glue and Duck tape. It didn't hold the first couple times I tried but eventually there will be enough glue and tape to form into a solid block.

If it is just your headset. You can get a Madcatz replacement for less than $8.00 at EB.com or Gamstop they work just as well. Also check on Ebay they have great deals there.

If its the part that plugs into the controller, i have 2 of them, yeah I broke my headset, got the rs3 one, broke that, got one with my new box, and so i have a madcatz headset i use and an extra module. Ill sell it for $10 plus shipping.

I've returned my XBL kit a couple times already because it broke where it attaches to the headband. Walmart usually replaces it without alot of trouble if you don't have receipt. I personally think MS should smarten the hell up and re-design the headset a bit so it won't break so easily. The headset should last a year atleast not 2-4 months.

Same for me, I was so mad. But I contacted MS and they repaired it, sent me an extra controller plug thing that this guy broke as well... so I have two of those. That is such a weak point in the deisgn of this headset.

That's what he's saying. He has the module. Pelican sells the module for $15. I saw it at Gamestop. So, the $10 is a fair deal.
