I haven't played a real, paper and pencil RPG in years and years. Last one I got into was Shadowrun. Too hard to get people together regularly.

I used to play this back a long time ago... I have alot or all of the original books, and the second publications of them as well... The ones with the like, paper mache, or whatever, covers and then the ones with the orange bindings... I think I've got about 20 books or so.

I don't play anymore, especially when 2nd Edition came out and it sucked, and then 3rd Edition made it even worse.

I haven't played paper D&D for many years. When I first bought D&D all the rules came in a cardboard box. I had an original edition Fiend Folio (which included the Cthulu mythos, since removed).

I also had a first edition ShadowRun book signed by all the authors and artists.

I remember the Fiend Folio... Not sure if that's one I still have or not... I think my uncle has it.

I cut my teeth on D&D 20 years ago. I played for a long time but haven't played since 1999. My old group got back together and is playing 3rd edition, they said it is pretty good. I miss it at times.

Yep, still into DnD when I can be, a lot of my friends and family have gone away from it so its hard. Loved the upgrade to d20. It never ceases to amaze me how PnP can be exciting, but I still love it.

It's called "too young to afford decent gaming consoles and/or a decent game library."

Now that I'm older and can afford it, I haven't touched AD&D... that and I think it was just a phase that lots of high school geeks go through. ;)

well if it is a phase because if that appeals to too many people then the world as we know it will end.LOL

Yeah, I admit I am a victim of the above, stumbled on Wizards of the Coast Web site and the rest is history.

I was also into tunr based table-top WWII for a while.

me and my friends have been playing for about 3 yrs now and we have been thinking about expanding to the interne but we a all to busy.
it is hard enouth to get the 7 of us together in one room for about 3 hours a week.
it is getting tough now that we all have full time jobs and girlfriends.
