It appears as though I will be moving to Wales for 6 months in 2005 as a part of a study abroad program at my college. I defiantly want to take my Xbox with me. I know that the coding for the games is different in some areas of the world (I'm guessing Europe is one of them). So I expect that if I want to keep up with the newest games I gonna have to have them shipped to me. Currently I don't own Xbox Live, but I plan to get it around the time Halo 2 comes out or maybe sooner. My question is, would I be able to play with other people in Europe over Live or XBC if I'm using an American Xbox? Will there be any compatibility issues with my Xbox due to the fact that it is a Pal network?

Thanks for any help you can provide

Honestly, I think you'd want to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX about this bro.

But the first thing that's coming to mind is that the plug won't fit in those dam European outlets...but eh, I have yet to hear about anyone bringing their Xbox to Europe. Give them a call and see what they say.

All you will need when you get there is your box, games and buy a stepdown transformer which you can get at most game outlets. There are plenty of places to buy US imports UK wide. Enjoy :D
