At least this will be excellent new if Guilty Gear and SNK Vs. Capcom see release over here. Still though, nice to see those games are coming to an Xbox with XBL support none the less. Guilty Gear is one of the best (and best looking) fighting games out there and it coming to XBL is incredible news to me. Check out the story....

Japanese Xboxes getting new arcade ports

The Castle of Shikigami II, Guilty Gear XX #Reload, and SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom are coming to Microsoft consoles across the Pacific.

TOKYO--According to Famitsu, Microsoft's Xbox will be receiving three new Japanese game ports. Kids Station will be releasing its popular arcade shooting game The Castle of Shikigami II in April at the retail price of 4,800 yen ($45). Developed by Alpha Systems, the Xbox port of The Castle of Shikigami II will include a new practice mode where the user can freely select a stage, and play through them with an invincibility option. The game will take advantage of the Xbox live, but it is unknown if users can play together online.

As part of their Xbox-publishing partnership, Sammy and SNK Playmore will be releasing two fighting games for the console. Sammy will be porting its arcade game, Guilty Gear XX #Reload in late April--no price has been set yet. In addition to the standard arcade mode, Guilty Gear XX #Reload will also include a story mode, and also allow users to compete with each other online via Xbox Live. SNK Playmore has announced that it will be porting their NeoGeo’s SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom on the Xbox. Like Guilty Gear XX #Reload, the game will be playable against other users on Xbox Live. The release date and price for SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom is unannounced at this time.

Nice!

I tried to play the arcade version of Guilty Gear XX in Japan, but it was not a button mashing game. You really have to know what you are doing if you want to play this game.

Your sig is a character from the game, isn't it?

Naw, that's Iori from SNK's King of Fighter's series. He'll be in the SNK Vs. Capcom game too.

Guilty Gear is one of the most feature packed fighting series out. There's just so much stuff you can do in those games, it's crazy. I had the first one on the original Playstation and Guilty Gear X imported for the DC. Messed around with Guity Gear X2 on my friend's PS2 and that was some good stuff too.

Guilty Gear's got some of the coolest character designs in a fighting game, too. Here are a couple....
