ESPN Basketball Lag

I have a pretty good connection but i have to feed it through my computer it hasnt been a problem for me in any game(rtcw, espn football and unreal) but i cant even play a whole quarter on live with this game cause the llag is so bad does anybody else find this game amazingly laggy?
