WTF? Why aren't the stats gone?

As was reported on the official RS3 site and linked in a previous thread (http://www.xboxaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49586), stats should have cleared with the recent auto-update. Yet, when I logged on last night, I downloaded the update but the stats are still there! I for one and a little mad. When ubi said the stats were going to get erased, I indulged in a lot more goofin' around on XBL. Now that they're still here, it looks like I'm stuck with results. Not that my stat's have ever been very impressive, but they were at least getting there. If you don't want to clear stats, fine; just don't tell us that you will.

I hear that, Peepers. I don't really care about stats, but I'd definitely go about my game differently if I knew I was starting w/ a clean slate. Sheesh, cutting my teeth on this game w/ some of you guys was a true trial by headshot, and I know my stats would look better now that I can at least get a couple kills here and there.

Yeah i have been screwin around alot lately because i thought the stats were gonna be reset.

Eh, i suck and will continue to suck. It would be nice if they did clear the stats though. Along with that hack.

well they are now. reset yesterday about 12 noon (East Coast)
