What Secrets Would You Want To Be Unvieled In Halo 2?

What would you want to find out in Halo 2? I would like to find out what Doctor Halsey is upto, more info on the forrunners (we can be positive their will be more info on them), more info on the Prophets and Brutes, and more info on the Flood. I wouldn't want the MasterChief to reveal his face, it just takes away from the character in my opinion (although we do have a vague idea of what he looks like).

The color purple is favorable to the Covenant. And no, they are not. How could you say that about Bungie??

I know, i was stating that that is all that is known about it (to us) as far the flood goes. Halo itself mentions that there are other rings throughout the galaxy.

Take a pistol or sniper rifle and shoot them in the gut, the back, or the neck. As long as you shoot their flesh, they will die in one shot.

He means the orange flesh where there stomach is and their back. Get close to them and let them charge you, move, and then turn around, then BAM (hit right in the orange spot)!

3. Unlock a super hard mode to test for thoses who think they are invincible in Halo 2.

Bungie doesn't jive with the unlockables aspect of video games. They think that is just a cheap way to make people keep playing a game. They are all about having people go back just because they love the game, not because they want unlock something just so they can say they finished it.

I just want more screenshots. And maybe a couple new gametypes let out. I seriously can't wait 9 months. I don't even know how anyone could say they would rather have any game over this. I mean I don't even know what I will do when I get it. Will I act like I have to pee when I open the door and rush up stairs really fast or will I sit there and stare at it. Will I go online first or will I play single player. Will I even be able to get on a game or will I host a server for people on xba.:cheers:

Bungie has said that the complete AI for the covenent will be/is being revamped, I doubt it will be there.

Actually, the Hunter should have been more than large enough. I'm just assuming they had to nix the other forms because of time constraints.

I don't think that was so much a matter of AI, but of purposeful physical design. However, the hunters certainly could be programmed to better protect their weak spot. I can't wait to see.

We won't see the Chief's face, Bungie wants the player to empathize for him and giving him a face would inevitably alienate someone. They also want you to believe that you are the Master Chief when you play, so giving him a face would ruin that illusion.

thanks, that did answer some of my questions. I always assumed that the spores exploded when they hit you because thats what they did. Never even thought about it being the shield. :) I read the Fall of Reach this week and next week I'm gonna read The Flood, then the other one, whatever its called.
they should give me some more answers.


I think it is really cool that they don't show his face, because it doesn't even really matter. I think its a lot more fun to imagine yourself inside the suit.

It might help even more to understand that when a Flood Infection Form infects an organism, it interfaces with their nervous system to control them, and releases spores throughout their body to begin the DNA morphing into a Flood Combat Form.

I seriously don't think it's such a big deal. Solid Snake and Sam Fisher don't seem to be alienating anyone because they have faces. I don't particularly imagine that I'm the chief, either. And what about girls playing the game? Are they going to imagine they're the chief, too? But whatever, their decision to hide his face won't affect the gameplay one bit.

ya i agree with alex on this one haven't you ever noticed that some things are a bit more intense when u don't know wht whatever it is looks like. cuz who knows it could just be some old dumb fugley guy.

He certainly must have scars all over his body and probably some on his face. He is in his mid to late twenties I think. It even says what color his eyes were, but I don't remember-they probably changed as a result of the chemical changes to his eyes as a result of the operations.

I hope you can blow apart covenant. I want to shoot a hunter with a rocket and see him get blown apart!

I had it sounding like I remembered what I just read and then you had to go and call me on all this stuff I screwed up on. ;) Wow, 41 years old huh? Its supposed to have biomod, so I would think that you would be able to blow apart enemies, but I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't. It would be so cool though to blow off a brute's arm and have him running at you screaming with blood squirting everywhere. :)

I hope he does not reveal his face, there are many different races out there and they allways get left out. Thats one thing i like from the start about halo, you dont know who is behind the mask. Games are getting better at not leaving everyone out. But the way halo did it none were left out. MC could be a girl to and indan. Im not a girl but i feel bad for them somtime on games. There proably where not any complants from PD.
