Cheating & Stats Issues

It has come to out attention that some players have been cheating, for example, with the Action Replay cheat to enable Molotov ****tails among other items in multiplayer online play.

Both Ubisoft and Microsoft take this very seriously and a fix is under way and will be implemented soon.

Additionally, many of you may have noticed, the Rainbow Six 3 stats are not working properly. This is a huge priority for Ubisoft & Microsoft and both companies are working closely to get this fixed as quickly as possible.

We are making every effort to ensure the best online gaming experience for everyone playing Rainbow Six 3.

Thanks for your patience.

Well, that's good to know.

Had some foolios whipping out those molotov's on a Ubi server tonight.

I don't care too much about those, it's the 4 primary weapon one that gets me. Suckas!

Possibly, or when you join a room, they could have it "look" atyour equipment. If any weapons are not where they are supposed to be, it could keep you out of the room.

Hooray!!

I had some fool on a Ubi last night telling me that it wasn't cheating, it was in the game and caused as much damage as a regular grenade. He also said that since he spent the 30 bucks on Action Replay, he should be allowed to use them because he payed for it. God, what a quief

God, what a quief  yeah that kid is a doomass but all the diffference is between that and a regular grenade they do the same amount of damage but they just explode on impact, i personally think they should be an option like grenade launchers and a fifty cal.

Yeah, been hearing that one a lot.

I honestly couldn't care less if people want to do stuff like that. I just wish they'd keep it in private servers. Took me a good half hour the other day to find a room where no one was pulling that chit.

ubi server = a dedicated server set-up by Ubisoft. Just like the MS servers are set up by microsoft, but those haven't been on in several months. It's fairly difficult to find ubi servers that are free since everyone plays on them, and they are the best servers to get into (unless you have cheaters using molatovs). As for what servers you should get into...a lot of XBA play together because we all know each other. Feel free to add some of us to your list.

All they would have to do is patch it on SIngle player cuz thats all it is. its just a hack to make a single player weapon be used multi. A simple damage thing would be easy but i think they want to keep the single player intact so that why its taking longer.

I have them but i only use them on MY Server with friends that have them... and i always have grenade launchers on to make it even for other people without them... when ever i play clan matches/ in another server i use regular weapons.

Exactly what are they doing to cheat and how are they doing it?

Don't worry, I'm not going to turn into one either.... I'm just a little curious as to how people are able to cheat on games like this....

It's just using game saves and an action replay.

Examples are silenced weapons, extra primaries, molotov ****tails, etc.
