Problems hearing people on live...

OK Im curious if anyone else has this problem. Pretty much in at least every other game on counterstrike I play on live theres always at least one person I cant hear talking. Other people will be talking to them but for some reason I cant hear them. I have my volume on the mic turned up, volume on the online options within the game turned up, and these people arent being muted by me. Also my headset is brand new. I just bought a new one...

Someone in a game mentioned that maybe its because of how far away they are from me but if thats the case how come I can hear people from other countries just fine? I pretty much play counterstrike the most so I havent really noticed this in any other game.

counterstrike is the only live game i play and i have never had this problem in particular. used to i couldnt hear ANYBODY sometimes....i had to go to settings and put sumthin on auto. i forget the option, but it's the only one that has auto.

I have a simmilar problem in Rainbow Six 3. Except I can people, but they can barely hear me because my voice cuts in and out.

No. I've talked with people from Norway, Germany, and even Australia with crystal clear reception over the head set. Sometimes they are not placing the mouth piece close to there mouth. I've been told that they can barely hear me so I adjusted my mouth piece closer to my mouth and it worked. A lot of people too have broken those crappy XBOX Live head sets and bought other brand head sets and the plug doesn't fit well in the controller. I shaved the plastic off the one I got at Radio Shack and it works great that I paid $12 for and is 10 times better quality that the XBOX Live crappy made head sets that come with the kit.

there sometimes is a problem in cs where you wont be able to hear the host if he is on the opposing team. that could be it...

I always have this problem when I play with Yankeez...CAUSE HE DOESN'T FREAKI' TALK!!!:cuss: :cheers:
