I just wanted to know whats the point of starting a dedacated if you can't play in it.

If you have a good connection and you have a lot of friends that want to play...you can leave it run while you're away so they can play on a server where they know most of the people with little lag (if they can't get on an Ubi Server)

I already responded to that question in the other thread you asked it, but I'll repost it here...

ubi server = a dedicated server set-up by Ubisoft. Just like the MS servers are set up by microsoft, but those haven't been on in several months. It's fairly difficult to find ubi servers that are free since everyone plays on them, and they are the best servers to get into (unless you have cheaters using molatovs). As for what servers you should get into...a lot of XBA play together because we all know each other. Feel free to add some of us to your list.

sorry about reposting i couldn't find the thread again, i was wondering about the starting a dedacted because i started one beforei came to work.

It seems that at least some of the ubi servers aren't from ubisoft. There was a kid booting people from one of them a month or two ago.

Not sure which ones are which, but I still haven't run into a bad one in any case.

Yea i host a dedicated every night on my regular xbox and almost all the time on my second xbox. I have a great conection so all my friends always have a good lag free place to play.

Yeah, check your upload speed before you go hosting a 16 player match...

Im tired of people running 14+ player dedicated servers, when they really cant host more than 6.

i hate that. people shouldnt host if they can't handle it.
