Iam planning on getting a cable modem, I hear you all talking about XBox live and people trying to host games on a 128 cable modem. Well I want to get a basic modem connection, but I am not out to host, just to play some games.....is it okay? Or should I get the 320? Please awnser...

Most cable internet providers support 256K download and atleast 128K upload. Most are now 256K upload.
That will work just fine :)

Typically you'll only get a little less that 128 upload even if promised more. You can go to broadbandreports.com and they have some great tweaking info to ensure the best speeds. If you can only get a 128 upload though, you'll be more than fine.

If you have cable/dsl ou will be fine on live. I have a cousin with DSL and 2 friends with cable where I play on live and they don't have any noticeable problems, but then again, i don't play with them that much (maybe on the weekends if that).
