Most popular Live game?

Other than racing or sports games, I'm mainly asking about FPS and other action type games.

Do any of these games have about 30,000 online a night (Like Socom 2 for PS2)? Or do any even come close to that? Whats the most you've seen on a game online? Just some things I wanted to know before I buy any of the FPS like C-S, RB6, and what not. Thanks.

There are 30 000 people playing SOCOM2 because it's the ONLY fun online game for the ps2 ;P

Another reason so many play socom is because ps2 has been around alot longer so it has a bigger installed user base.

Anyway my favorite fps is Counterstrike right now but rainbow six 3 is great too. They are kinda 2 different types of games. Counterstrike is alot more fast paced.

Also soldier of fortune 2 online(not single player) is actually pretty fun but probably not alot playing that nowadays.

Those are some other fun online games for PS2.

Rainbow Six 3 is by far the most popular Live game at the moment (My mic cuts in and out so I hardly play it). Second most popular would probably be Project Gotham Racing 2. Alot of people also seem to play Crimison Skies alot.

THUG - No, there is no way anybody could find this 'fun' If it were THPS3 yes, definately, but THUG is beyond crap. This game is so terrible, nothing on the face of the earth could make it 'fun' Why there is a THUG 2, Ill never know, but THPS 3 was perfection, absolute perfection. THPS 4 was crap, and THUG was beyond terrible.

Anyways, onto the topic at hand, I play Project Gotham 2 the most, I've played well over half of the XBL games, and I'd have to say so far it's the best. That's comming from someone who hates 90% of all racing games.

But Counter-Strike is (I think) better than Rainbow, but Rainbow Six 3 is definately the most popular game for XBL. So if your just looking for people to play with and total realism, than Rainbow is a good pick. If you want fast-paced (and a good aiming system!!) then Counter-Strike.

I personlly think Rainbow 6 3 is the most popular and most liked my myself. I also think that Progect Gothen his a great game and CS is not bad if you like the CS style of play.

RB63 is more sneaky and CS is more fast paced and PGR2 is just a great racing game.

i would go for Rainbow Six 3...its an awesome XBOX Live game....n fun campain too....but try it...its awesome;)

ive only played crimson skies, mechassault, and XIII. never had a problem finding people to play with. my personal favorite was crimson skies though. and if you have never played counter strike i definitly recommend it.

how many servers u supose theyll need to handle the mass amount of people. Cuz i bet anyone with live will get halo 2!

Once Halo2 will be released a lot of people will quit playing RS3 and CS I guess...

Like nowadays you won't find much players anymore in GRIT since they've all switched to RS3.
