After playing the great KOTOR I think its safe to say everyone should be excited about this game. Here (http://www.xbnmag.com/article2/0,4364,1486753,00.asp) is a new preview of the game with (new?) screenshots. Im definitely sold.

Funny or not but reading the previews of this game its shaping up to be a better game then KOTOR. The question is if it will be as popular since its not a Star Wars game.

i also think this will be better than KOTOR. im not a fan of Star Wars, but i like China.

Well it may be funny but can be true. Some people feel that HL 2 is the only Half-Life killer and Halo 2 is the only Halo killer. Well these are sequels but you get the point. Hopefully the combat will be better but I certainly don't like watching turn based or pseudo turn based combat. Only in strategy games.:D

We are crying to have a game like this. I think is better and the majority wanted a game based on the past rather than the future.

will you controll the moves or will it be like kotor where you presss a button and they do moves for you?

Well, after seeing the footage of it long ago, i think it will be arcade-style like Diablo series.

Click the preview, the developer says that they are doing something different ;)

Just to say, I CANT WAIT FOR THIS GAME! This is in my top 5 most anticipated (by order: Fable, Halo 2, B.C, Jade Empire, Half-Life 2).

I even started to write a fanfic for it... Don't ask, I was bored. Anyway, this is gonna kick the crap out of KOTOR IMO. :cheers:

Yes it will be more action fighting RPG than turn based. I was laughing cause they called it pseudo turn based like I did. :D

Supposedly there will be a fighting system. :D

I've been hyped since the first pics and info were released. Simply put Jade Empire will be amazing.

I saw the video from OXM and I am really excited. I think it should be an awsome game. I am done with turn-based games for awhile.

The combat feels turn based. You just press a button and watch the action unfold. That's why I only played KOTOR for about an hour. I guess I'm just used to Zelda and Diablo type combat.

Kotor seemed pretty short, Beat it in 2 days...maybe I was glued to the Tv, but It was kind of a letdown for me. dont get me wrong, I loved the game but I wish it was longer. I hope Jade empire will be longer........:cuss:

yeah i never liked turn based games, maybe except for likes of chrono trigger and such.

i'm excited bout this game also, and it surprises me that its in development for 2.5 years... i thought they started last year lol. anyways this is my 3rd most wanted game after halo2, fable...

KOTOR is half turn base, half real time.
Jade Empire will be real time all the way.

To me turn based is not being able to control your character while they are in battle. Technically, you do have to que up attacks but you can move your character out of harms way or put them in better position.
