i never noticed? i think that it's more realilistic like that, but if it was something like halo or unreal, you should put the gun there, it just adds to the excitement!

How is not being able to see the gun in front of you more realistic?

Anyway, I don't really care either way. It's not like it really makes a difference. :)

Personally, I prefer not seeing it as the gun may be blocking the small portion of an enemy that you can see.

True. I really prefer neither though. We all have to deal w/ it.

When I've been playing GR, it's frustrating to have the gun blocking my view, but if I've been playing R6, it throws me off. As long as it's all equal, I don't really have a problem either way.

I like the idea of Call of Duty where you see through the actual sights of the gun you are using. But if you had the gun shooting from your hip, then you probably should see only the tip of the gun or something. Generally, you don't want to see your gun in tactical shooters since it can block your view. Personally, it just adds some flavor to the fps.

Having a gun obscures your field of vision. Its like in real life. When you wanna look without scoping throught with your gun, it gives a more realistic vision.
