I got my xbox about a month ago, and I am looking for some controllers, and I am wondering what 3rd Party controllers I should get, or if I should just get the Microsoft ones.

If you must get third party, get a Mad Catz MicroCON controller, but I'd tell you to get a Microsoft S Controller.

I had one on PS2 and I don't really think it was all that great.I think the controller s is too expensive.

I love the Original Controller. I can play on an S-Type Controller, but, the original is where it's at.

dang i thought most people would agree that controller s is the best... i like the big original, but i got used to the s controller and now i use it for every game i play even on halo.... altho i must warn you long hours with controller s starts making your hand ache... while i never had any aches in my hands when playing halo for hours and hours and hours with the big original controller.

BTW i would never buy third party controllers, never, 3rd party accessories ok, but not controllers....

all this is just my experience.

My brother had a microcon controller and it broke. Origanal controllers always last longer than the third party ones no matter what system you look at. If you still want to go third party, go for it.

I'd go with a type s controller, but if you really wanna go third party, I'd have to recommend the Intec Mini. Great controller.
