What new information do you think we will learn about Halo 2 at this E3? I hope we get a playable demo or another demo. That would be AWESOME!!!!

i think there will certainly be a vid/trailer, but I'm positive they won't give us a playable demo. If they do, i will be very surprised.
Pretty much, bungie is gonna use E3 to show some new stuff abotu the game as well as tell the general public stuff that us halo fanatics already know...and maybe a finite release date...I shouldn't get my hopes up.

Exactly! I'm with you, man...If they are going to show anything, I would love for them to show the map that Frankie was referring to in the recent update...the one that takes elements from Halo PC's Death Island, and the XBox versions of Blood Gulch and Hang 'Em High. I don't have Halo PC, but, BG and HeH are both my favorite multi-player maps...all the other ones are close 2nds and 3rds (Chiron being my least favorite).
Oh man...this E3 is going to be sweeeeet!

Those 3 levels were frankie's favorites, I don't think he said that the board was a combination of those three. He mentioned that the board will be a big favorites like Blood Gulch was, but if you look at it like this: A board that is two islands connected by a bridge with similiar insides like hang em high, very sweet.

You're Both Right.
Just for context, my fave current maps are, Blood Gulch, Death Island (for PC) and Hang 'Em High. I think this new one has the coolest elements from each.

Lol. I guess we are.
Now that I'm reading it again, I see that he means they have similiar general features like great places to hide, good sniping spots, and open area to drive vehicles (as examples).

You don't release a demo of the most anticipated game of all-time before the actual game is released.
(E3 will be cool for a new video though :) )

...doesn't that sound alot like the 'faces' map in the old Unreal Tourn. for computer?
I wouldn't mind that one bit, it was my favorite map. I'd own you all!
....probably :D

Whatever happened to the old mantra "never show a game at E3 twice"?

Seriously, though, man...if they showed a video of the mult-player of Halo 2, that would be sweet. Multi-player, in itself, is practically a seperate game .
Okay, I'm just making a good excuse for wishful thinking :D

I meant to imply, never show a game twice because it should be out within a year of showing it off at E3. Of course I'd like to see something new at E3.
My money is on playable multiplayer, and nothing else. That would generate tons of excitement and would allow them to continue to keep the veil up on the story and such, as it were. All of their current promotion seems to be highlighting multiplayer, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it playable at E3.
Yeah, a nice Halo2 Tournament would be tight at E3.
Crosses fingers

I thought you guys were Bungie fans? I guess you are all fakes...
deep in the heart of autumn
were silent spaces for fifty
of the ones that need no name
from this celestial bough
all but one did fall into
the pitiless fires of reach
a soldier's ignominy
to have dreamt while brothers bled
but oh, for the rest of us
his shame was our salvation

Yeah we're Halo fans, but we arent F'n Halo Groupies that want bungie to booc0cki on us. We dont need to visit HBO daily and resite halo poems.
For those that dont know, HBO is Halo.bungie.org.
