Has halo 2 still got pistol weapon on

It should be back. If the needler and the rocket launcher is back, then surely the pistol as well.

Since the pistol is what made Halo great, I doubt that they would take it out :)

There isn't any media showing the pistol, but it would be a bad idea to take it out. I would expect it to be changed to the pistol from First Strike. It's about a 1/3 larger and the bullets are the size of MC's thumb.

I wouldn't be suprsied if they reduced the power a little on the pistol though... What a great gun, it was my complete strategy on Hang em' High... Pistol. Pistol. Pistol.

I'm sure they will though. The controls in the original were the greatest controls of any game I have ever played... and they were ranked high above many magazines... so it would be silly to change them... yes... I've convinced myself... for now :)

I can't see the number one weapon from Halo 1 being taken otu, but I can readily see it being changed a little. I think that the weapon designs are going to be phenomenol(sp?). The smgs, battlerifle, and rocket launcher already look bad ass.

If the pistol is not in Halo 2, it's possible that the Battle Rifle would be the one to replace it. It seems to shoot just as fast, zooms in the same, and is the same semi-automatic like the pistol.

We'll see what happens...since we don't know for sure that the pistol is in or not (hopefully it will be), atleast we know that the Battle Rifle is in. I hope it has the same range and is everything that the pistol is, but, simply looks and sounds different.

Personally, I wouldn't want the pistol's power to be any less. I love the 3 head shots equals death scenario :D

My biggest fear in a game of Halo: a skilled pistol user.

The battle rifle is looking very promising so far.
