BugBear(Developers of Flat-Out) are calling Flat-Out "the Half Life 2 of racing games". Why are the developers of Flat-Out making such a claim? Because of Flat-Out's fully incorporated physics system, that has 2,000 dynamic objects on each track that can be hit, and tossed about. Tires, wooden poles, signs, railing, anything can be wrecked into, and tossed onto the track causing massive realistic pileups.

The drivers in the game will have ragdoll physics. Meaning you'll see players going through windshields, and tossed realistically around the track.

Flat-Out won't have any type of track barriers, meaning if you get bored of racing. You can just take off and explore the surrounding environments.

Flat-Out will have online play for the PC, and Xbox that supports up to 8 players. With all of the normal racing modes, plus a destruction derby-style free-for-all, and online tournaments.

Hopefully Flat-Out can live up to the developer's hype once it ships later this year.

This game looks like it would be a ton of fun to play. I would love to play a game with crazy crash scenes and an interactive environment. Plus the graphics in those screen shots look amazing!!

Now, if Burnout looked anything like this, it would be a good game. This game looks to be off da hook!

game looks awesome and revolutionary for racing games... if other devs pick up on this, racing games will never be the same...
