Reuters reports that a 13 year old boy in Hong Kong flew into a rage when his father pulled the plug on his video game. The boy then grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened his parents by waving the knife around wildly. The father overpowered the youth and no one was injured. The incident occurred when the boy refused to stop playing his video game and go to bed at midnight, when the father pulled the plug.

I dunno. I reckon it probably wasn't an X-Box the nerdy little nutter was playing.

I believe it if a game deprived kid gets to play a system they are dead serious about it. I actually know alittle 9 year old like this.

As far as I know, the Playstation 2 has been far and away the best selling console in Asia and the Gamecube has sold comparably with the X-Box. Therefore, I'm just guessing chances were it probably (although I know no more about it than anyone) wasn't an X-Box.

It's not like I'm slagging the X-Box by writing that some insane child with a knife might not own one. Quite the opposite, I would have thought.

He sounds like my lil' brother. He has the longest gaming indurance out of anyone I have ever seen. He's beaten Halo (every level) about 4 times. Pretty good for a 6 year old.

What the hell was the parent thinking? You don't just do that. Parents need guidance to know what's important in life. That's video games. They had it coming as far as I'm concerned.

Just kidding......:D

I meant torture like just when he's about to beat a boss in any game his parents unplug his game. That kind of torture. I know I would kill someone if I had a boss beat and they kept unplugging the game. Wouldn't you?:watchout:
