A FABLE Card Game?

Cardgames have always been nifty, reason enough for Kelly Scott from Black&White Studios to come up with a design for a cardgame for Fable. This is still work in progress but we would like to hear from you all if such a thing is appreciated and if Kelly should continue working on it. Feel free to leave any comments in this topic - tell us if you like it, tell us your feedback and ideas!

:rofl: I know, huh. I thought the same thing. But looks like one of the people working on Black and White 2 came up w/ the idea and is working on the card game all by her lonesome. So, as long as that's the case, and it's not slowing down Big Blue Box's production on Fable, I think it's a good idea, albeit maybe a bit late.

sure i used to collect baseball cards...and sadly in like 4th grade...pokemon cards...

but i never used to 'play' with them :cry:

As far as the cards, I'd just like to have 'em as a sort of collector's item, ya know? I'm really pumped for Fable, and some of the artwork on these cards are revelations as to what we can expect from this game.

hehe i used to play pokemon alot... i collected them too... boy was it good times... i used to collect baseball and basketball cards too... i still have those... come to think of it i still have 2 of my pokemon decks custom made hehehe fun fun times

personally, i think pokemon cards look better than those fable ones...


P.S. i still play pokemon cards against somebody else once in a while when i'm really bored... brings back memories

I probably won't buy these cards....primarily because I'll be cooped up in my house 2 months after buying Fable. :D

I don't think I'd buy these. They don't look very good. It's all about how they look. It doesn't matter if the card game is crappy :p.

I think it would be a nice, unique extra to include w/ pre-orders. I can't see them selling any real number of these as a stand alone collectable card game. As far as the cards looking 'meh', I'm pretty sure these are mock-ups, and that in its final form, the cards will have a more polished, professional look.

But hell, what do I know...?

But like Trasher said, I'm sure they will look more polished in final form. If they are available with pre-order, I'll probably check them out. This is definetly a game I'll be preordering. :D

Yeah man I dono. I'm with you guys, game first than cards. Like do you suppose they'd do better if the game came out AND THEN merchandise like this (Pokemon card tactic) or do you think they want results through selling cards in hype and excitement for the actualy game? Inless you can make a card with your own maded char on it with all of his weapons and armour and change his appearance (with no horns or halos at that) and make him/her look as cool as the chars on THOSE cards...I dono if i'm for it.

They might make alot on the cards but if they don't advertise no one will buy them especially on how they look and how would you make a card of the protagonist in the game? :confused:
