The official release date has been set to September 1, 2004. I hope that there is not going to be delays. That would suck... balls.

There has been no announcement by Bungie other than Fall 2004, and Bungie will be the FIRST to tell the world when Halo 2 will be released. Game retailers don't know, they just make up dates because it is required by law if they want to collect money for preorders.

So if you are going to make a claim like that without proof, you might as well not waste your time. I could say that Halo 2 will be out 7 days ago, but if I can't prove it, I am just wasting mine, and everyone's time.
