An emulator would allow you to play xbox games on the pc. The file you found is most likely a virus or just someone playing a joke. They haven't figured out how to create an emulator that will work for xbox games yet.

Yeah and when they do, you'll need a liquid nitrogen cooled video card and a 3,000,000ghz CPU. Ps2 emulators need around 2ghz to perform so imagine xbox

yeah, and it's illegal! If you don't own the game, and system. I have never played an emulator;) but from what I hear... they are pretty cool. You just download a rom (game), and an emulator, and you have the game, and you can download as many games as you want. My friend;) , had like a ton of SNES games, and he loved it!

Hmm, A nintendo fanboy told me that there's an Xbox emulator that only works on Windows 3.1. Obviously I l laughed in his face and said.....no child, if the PC was running 3.1 it wouldn't be fast enough to run an Xbox game...and then he said, well mine's running 3.1 and I said, you sad bar-steward (lol-thats his job, a bar steward - jk) you said you were running XP last night when I went ures, and he said he changed it - bull.....

I wouldn't expect one for 3 - 4 years and even then it probably wouldn't be that great only being able to emulate 5 or so games. They can't even emulate the DC yet and that's been around for a bit.

dude, sorry to burst your bubble, but the so-called "fanboy" is right, it takes the computer and loads up some virtual thing, and it makes the computer think its going fast. I saw it online but I have XP. They even have an official site. If i can find it, ill post it.

I read somewhere about this emulator and the guy talking about it stated that he decompiled it or whatever it is you do to programs and its just RedAlert code.

"makes the computer think it's going fast"

What the heck is that supposed to mean. This makes no sense. That must be the highly technical explanation from the porn site where this emulator can be found.

I too want to know what the hell does "makes the pc think its going fast mean." I remember back in the day when they used to have those 486 to pentium conversion software programs on warez sites. Don't tell me you're talking about something similar cause those were a joke.

I doubt any Xbox emulator exists yet or is even possible to normal home PCs, however it is true that Windows 3.1 runs a hell of a lot faster than modern Operating Systems.
For instance, a 486 with 3.1 boots up much faster than a Pentium with Win 95.

I think this is because old OS's use far less computer resources than new ones do. Win 3.1 can run on 4 megs of ram, but if you tried to run a new OS like Win XP on 4 megs of Ram, the computer would blow up. (obviously, that's a hyperbole)

Xcept for the fact that it wouldn't support Direct X. Yay I can play solitaire alot faster now cuz my computer thinks its going faster. :D
The guy who made this emulator must be the highly esteemed creator of the ever so popular Dreamcast emulator - Nitemare. I'm sending my money to him right now for the Xbox emulator, I hope I don't get ripped off.

I really hope you are joking when you said you sent someone money
