Question about a big monitor!?????

hi. My dad has a 38 inch monitor for his computer. the computer is a gateway and is called a "Destination". it doubles as a tv. it has cable in svideo and all that good ish. i just have one question. what resolution should i run it in if i want the best picture? There is only 800x600 and 640x480. So what would give me the best picture?

Well, the XBOX gives you three choices:
1) 480
2) 720
3) 1080

Since your Destination only goes to 600 you're stuck with 480.
