Yeah, well, in the XBL dashboard it says go to Xbox.com to find out how to do them...but when I go to the site, I cannot find it...anywhere.
Anyone know how to send them with the invites?

Just go to the dash, click friends, when you add them it'll say do you want to send a voice message...then you click yes...simple as that.

nah, it's all there, you just can't see it because games don't support it yet. Plus MSN messenger is coming really soon, so look out.

defiantely lame.
Mhm. I was hoping for voice messages on friend invites, not friend requests. Who the hell wants voice on a friend request? I could care less about that, really.

i sure hope all the other new features become available soon, cause that voice message with F/R's is completely useless.

it's also on invites, but just on the dashboard. If your in the dash and send it to someone on say rainbow, they can't listen to it...I give 0 props.

Hopefully they'll be stepping up the updates next time. I was a little miffed too why it took 24 hours for the update but we don't all know how much of it will be incorporated in future updates.

Calm down guys. The reason the update took so long and all you see are voice invites on the dash is because no games support it yet. Give it time . The update just works behind the scenes now, until games support it.

I dont know what you guys are whinning about but I think it is a good update. Considering Halo 2 and the future games coming out it will work great. You can spam, lol. But say if you want to invite a friend to a game, in rainbow six 3 I had problems getting into some rooms. Sometimes the room is full and that is why I can't get in and sometimes it is just because of my router. I could voice message a friend and tell them the room is full or my router is a piece of ****. Spamming will also be fun.

I'm confused what does msn have to do with anything? I thought you just clicked on the player on your friends list and clicked an option to send voice message and sent it.

Yeah, i read that most of the updates won't be seen until games that support it hit the shelves. Expect the new updates to surface with the next batch of Live games :)

Im not too sure but the MSN Support will enable ur Buddys on X Box Live to send u invites to a game while ur offline but ur alerted though a MSN Alert telling u - Gamer Tag Here - wants you to play - X Box Title Here - ... i dont know much about it myself so dont quote me on that :p

Ok the the fact that the voice messages only work in the dash to send and recieve does suck first off. I understand that its probably because the games out now arent able to support it so why cant the games just do an update to allow them like rb6 did to fix glitches and stuff? Is it that hard to implement this one change at least? Maybe they will.....

WILL YOU GUYS JUST STOP WHINING!
Yea, the dashoard voice messages, 480p dashboard, and in-dash unsubscribe option are all you can see/do now, but the 24 hr update placed the structure for all sorts of NEW things as soon as new games support them.
