I Found A Person Who Hates Halo

Actually this person is my sister's boyfriend. He kept telling me he hates Halo and Halo 2 etc... I always wondered why. Then I actually saw him play it. He stinks. He can't get used to the looking with one stick and moving with the other. So he runs around the first level staring at a wall unable to jump the first obstacle (you know the one). I suppose this dosen't really belong on this forum but I thought it's funny.

Ok, time for a confession. I don't like Halo. Yes, you heard me, don't like Halo, and I am not terribly interested in Halo 2. I love first person shooters on the computer, not on the XBox. There are about 10 FPSs that I would rather play before Halo.

And to add to everything, I really hate Ninja Gaiden. Looks nice, plays like a big steaming pile of dog poo. :bang:

Ninja Gaiden is a masterpiece but it is really only for the core gamers. I like this because everytime I hear someone say how awful NG is I know they just can't control its greatness.

You can't tear down it's graphics because it really stands on its own there. You have violence, a decent story, variety of weapons, sexy female characters and did I mention the piles of decapitations?

This game has it all and the controls keeps away the n00bie gamers. God bless Team Ninja :D

And Madhattr, I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer. You are right about the graphics, looks great, but the part I can't stand is the camera angles. I can never see what the hell is going on. Sure, I can mash buttons, and knock guys heads off, but without seeing who is behind me and what is going on I just start to get pissed. And if you try and swing the camera around with the other analog stick, opps, it doesn't work like that... all you have is the camera center button, doesn't cut it. Sorry man, if I was reviewing NG on graphics it would get a 10, but I don't play the graphics, gameplay about a 3/10. And then only if I was in a good mood.

I have a friend who plays Halo using just the Left Thumbstick and even he loves it. except in multiplayer where it's easy to sneak up from behind and melee his ass. Mhahaha.

I've seen some Halo haters, usually the PS2 types, and the Golden Eye diehards. I get into some some conversation at game stores.. usually when I detect the BS meter going off the scale.
My personal favorite Game Store BS story was this kid telling a clerk that MS made a deal with Rockstar. Because GTA and VC where Sony exclusives and they got released on the Xbox, MS had agreed to release Halo for the PS2. This kid was serious. He's saying his source was a friend of an uncle of a girlfriend of a teacher of a maintenance man for a hairdresser for a dog walker of a guy who knew a girl who...
anyway you get the idea. But the fact is, I called him on it, he got really agitated, and swore (at me) and swore that he was correct.

By the way, I have Ninja Gaiden, it's a good game. It's certainly a real eye candy game. But the control of the camera? Bah!

I have a friend who has an xbox, but has never played halo, that was until the other day when I borrowed it to him, now he likes it. We should start a missionary organization where we go to peoples houses who have never played halo and borrow them copies. :D

oh sorry what I ment to say was that he has an xbox, played halo, beat halo, says halo blows, says he wants halo 2, then when I ask him why he wants halo 2 he says "because its 2". Its not like he is hyped about it either. People that stupid shouldn't have an xbox.
