I really like the idea of destructable vehicles....... kinda. If someone shoots at my tires and the gun turret gets damaged, it's not going to be nearly as cool :(


And I scanned the Game Informer by myself.... and cropped them and everything.... can I put them up yet or do I need to wait like another 4 weeks.

Thanks for providing me that. I will keep them up until we are otherwise told to take them down... I don't see how this is copyright infridgement as they are only scanned images of REAL material, not something someone copyrighted or is passing off as being real material they found. Plus it's stated that it is coming from OXM, it's not like it's crediting another magazine...

of course, the argument could be made against us that we are leaving the scans on our site to drive in traffic, which is illegal, especially when we dont have an agreement with the copyright holder.

And most people wont post an entire magazine article, text and pictures and then say, oh i just posted it for comments, even though everybody begged me to post them becuase they are to freaking lazy to go buy the magazine.

and regarding teaching, what was going on here would be more like the teacher making copies of the entire text book and handing them out for the students to use for free.

I know I'm gonna have a lot of fun on multiplayer. I can't hit the driver of the warthog in the head with a sniper but I can hit the driver of the ghost. If I just shoot the tires out I can kill him much easier and someone else could throw a nade at it.

They posted scans and EGM tried to threaten legal action only to find that they were in the wrong and the gun forum had every right to post the scans. It ended with EGM apoligizing on their official website, in the magazine, and on the gun forums.

Its legal, whether its good morally or not is not the point here. I too think that people should head out and buy the mag, but posting the scans is not illeagal.

Nah dude, its 100% confirmed, the destruction of all vehicles will be included in multiplayer, and I might try to piss a brute off every once in a while:
