Silenced one handed weapons

I have hear on a site called halo center forums that you will be able to make your smg's and pistols silenced. I'm not too sure about it though but I'm sure bungie will give us everything we want in halo 2. It is the last halo and possibly the last real badass console game. Can someone confirm this cause that will be soo awesome if they have that in there. It would reming me soo much of Perfect Dark if they have that in there. I always used those cmp150's and those could be comparable to the smg's, the pistol could be comparable to the falcon 2 and especially if they can be silenced :yikes: :D . I cant wait to pop heads any longer.

on another subject I hope you can turn auto aim off cause I am better without it.

i dont know thats not halos stlye in my opinion but it would give the game a nice twist but on the other hand it could be a cheap game ruiner

I dont know about that.. Sound is a big factor.. And if these silenced pistols are anywhere as deadly as the regular in halo1... Well thatd suck.

Silenced pistols with like much less damage...OK..thats cool!

on another subject I hope you can turn auto aim off cause I am better without it.
Try playing Halo PC with an xbox controller, it doesnt have the auto aim thingy and it can be really hard especially since aiming the pistol is different in it, it seems a lot less accurate to me.

In the EGM Halo 2 article, it says the SMG might have a silencer, or at least on of the versions might.

thx, and ya I would think that if they had silencers it wouldn't do as much damage. They said they toned the pistol down.

I don't know... I think the silencers would add a big dose of stealth to the game... maybe I'm wrong... and about autoaiming - get a life guys! You can't think that the producers are so stupid! I'm sure that there will be and option that will activate/deactivate the autoaiming, specialy that there's the Live play.

Halo already has auto aim, you really can't notice it but its more like an aid then auto aim, if you snipe and hold your aim real close to the target and the target moves slowly, your recticle will move a little by itself, almost all console fps have them, rainbow six 3 is another that has this too.

You never know, rainbow six 3 has this and there is not option to disable it on xbox live, I think that the aid is a good thing, it can be really annoying with none, try playing halo pc online with an xbox controller. I had to lower my sensability just so I could aim better.

I'd look for a silencer in the campaign mode, since you can shoot out lights and use a little Sam Fisher style stealth action against the covies.
