How do I control Genma Onimusha -- Help!!

Does Genma Onimusha control like Resident Evil - Up is always forward, Down is always reverse? Or does it control like the 2D option in silent Hill - (Up, Down, Left, Right will move your character in that direction regardless of the camera or character's position)?

I'm pretty sure it's like the 2D option in SH2.

I have asked the people who have played it on the PS2 and they told me it's exactly like Resident Evil. The game is based on the same engine. It's gonna be one hell of a game !!!!!!!!!!! :cool:
