The big 3 have all shown their cards, and it's time to vote on who you think did the best.

My vote goes to Nintendo. If anyone watched the show, they dropped some BIG bombs.

DS: Touch Screen, Built in Mic, Built In Wireless up to 100ft, WIFI (Ohh Yeahhhhhh), GBA cart compatable, Exclusive Metroid DS FPS

As for the cube games, Star Fox, Metroid Prime 2, Advanced Wars GC, and NEW FREAKIN ZELDA!!!!

Um, Mec, stay away from that catnip, it's starting to effect your train of thought.

Now, after last night, with EA going Live, the Halo2 multiplayer demo, more new Live features and the in-game trailer of Doom3 - how am I going to say anyone but MS has already claimed the throne?

Even without all tha other **** they showed, Halo 2 still made the Big M's show the best.

All you have to do was listen to the croud in all the video clips. Its the same reporters in each croud and the roudiest bunch was over Microsofts stuff. Is is just me, or did the Sony stuff seam really lame??? Nothing really new or inovating...nothing that I have really been looking forward to....GRANTED the only reason I still have my PS2 is GT.....but with the debeut of that new racing game I might not need it at all....

Normally I would've went with Nintendo because of Zelda, and Nintendo DS. But, Microsoft pulled off more. Sure they didn't announce anything amazing (except the welcoming of EA to LIVE) but, they showed their hand, and it wowed everyone. Doom III, Conker: Live and Reloaded, & of course Halo 2 to name a few. If I remember correctly Nintendo had no playable game of Wind Waker last E3, and for those who havn't read my "rant", if you will, of Wind Waker, I found it to be awful. People played Halo 2 and seemed to love it, though Conker and Doom weren't playeable, I don't think RARE if gonna screw up their first big title for the 'Box, and VV should be glad to be porting over Doom III, and ID wouldn't let them screw it up, and I'd bet on that. I'm glad to see Link with they look he should've had to begin with, but after Nintendo screwed up Wind Waker, I don't know if I'll get this one right away. Due to Nintendo screwing up one Zelda game, is the reason I can't vote Nintendo.

I can understand your feelings about Wind Waker, but I don't see how that can affect your decision. Granted, the game had it 's flaws (Excessively long water travel...), but it also had it's advantages (Great puzzles and dungeons, excelent weapons combat).Saying that Nintendo is making Link look the way he should have is ridiculous. Wind Waker was a concept, and with the content of the game I believe that they made the right decision in the design that they chose. Sure, the game *could* have been made with the more realisitc graphics that this next Zelda title is, but the game wouldn't have retained the same feel as the final product.

You must understand that I did like Microsoft's presentation, but it was truly lacking. Conker looks much more improved than last year, and will make an excelent addition to my Live collection. Doom 3 looks great, but it's one FPS too many on my XBox, and I'd rather stick with Halo 2. Speaking of Halo 2, the demo looked great, and I can't wait to play it... 6 months to go.... They had the piece about the videophone, which is great, but they didn't go into too much detail. Finally, as much as the new racing title seems cool, I remember last year when PGR2 was a big deal, and now it's sitting on many shelves getting dusty. Although, as you said, it's all good, there is nothing at the event that knocked me off my seat.

The part I didn't like was the uncertainty of most of the items mentioend above. The Videophone shows what XBL is capable of, but when will we see it fully realized? What about Conker? And Doom 3? And not even a few major tidbits about the next Xbox? Or which titles will be supporting the new XBL features we are all drooling over? Answers is all I ask for.

Waffle.

I'd have to say Nintendo also, only because of the huge surprises, and DS looks awesome.

From what I've read and seen online I think Microsoft had the best of the best with Nintendo in close second and Sony a distant .......third!

As a whole I'm very impressed with the show....

The games that got my attention was the new Legend Of Zelda & Viewtiful Joe2... Metroid Prime2 (Looks pretty good) and the rest like Star Craft: Ghost for example will be ported on Xbox too.

What I liked the most was their new handheld (DS name will be changed before launch)and games for it... Still have to really see Sony's PSP, idk.

But yeah the Xbox will be coming out with more and better games and other goodies! :p

*snip*

a lot of games

*snip*

Out of that entire list there are only three games I know I'll buy. Halo 2, Fable, B.C. The sad thing is that they are the same three games I was looking forward to from last years E3. This years E3 is pretty disappointing in my book. Guess I'm just finding it hard to justify $50 for a game anymore. I was really hoping they would give some news about the next Xbox.

From what I've read I would have to say Microsoft with Nintendo right next to them. Has anybody seen Sony? They seem to be missing.

(the takeover has been realized)

Nintendo had nowhere to go but up!
That's why their showing was surprising. They were the underdog.
I think most people would rather have Fable than Zelda, however.
And then Halo2 over Metroid Prime.

And if not, I ask you this, would you rather have New Zelda and New Metroid Prime OR Fable and Halo 2.
Again, Nintendo had nowhere to go but up, so they may have surprised some people.

For me though, I care nothing for handhelds so, I just like the Xbox lineup better.
I could see where some would say Nintendo had a better showing based solely on their handheld, though.

Halo 2 just is too good, although I will admit the new Zelda might just make me go out and buy a gamecube.
