I dont think any of that is confirmed yet. I myself have seen at least 5 different "box arts" for this game so far. I like that one the best though.

I don't really like it too much. Its alright but I know they can do better. I'm kinda sick of seeing all the red on the pictures (box art, wall paper)

I doubt they will use that it looks like something EB would use so u pre order not a professional box for the a big like this

If it was official, it would be at BNet, and ALL the game sales sites would use it.

It looks fake anyways because it doesn't use any graphics we haven't seen before, and Bungie wouldn't just throw it out on us without saying anything. This picture looks cooler anyways (on the right):

ya maybe someone won a best box art contest and everybody uses it now. I just think it looks too crappy for it too be the real box art. I'm sure spartan could make a very good box art for halo 2 and considering it is going to be a big game I think bungie would get a better box art than that.

btw-It hasn't been on www.bungie.net and we haven't seen the back or side of it. Bungie showed off the limited edition box so I'm sure they would show they would show the regular box and everyone would know what it looks like at the same time. Fans and game dealers.

well its on the front page of our beloved XBA. I think it's real. And hell, if it is, it ain't bad at all.

I want to make this clear: It isn't official box art until Bungie confirms it.

We have 6 months until the game is out, I'm sure the box art is still under wraps. Most games have box art released within a few months pending their release. So don't take this art as the real thing.

Yes, and anyone can make box art look as real as they want, as long as they are semi-proficient with photoshop. I've seen 1 or 2 box arts for Perfect Dark zero, in Xbox cases sitting on desks, that looked nothing short of real. I think my friend that goes to ITT had assignment for his PS class that was "create a DVD box/game box picture." A lot of sites have this, but a lot of sites also need something that looks good for now and says this game is XB only, and is live capable.

Honestly, I can care less what the box art looks like...the case will likely sit on my game rack never to be taken down since the game disc will be gently sitting in my XBox never to be removed :D

the case that zero ruled fake isnt the best cover but it does look cool so if it is the cover you guys will learn to love it i will

I say it's a protype artwork box. Just like how the final box for DOA3 was the 2nd one they showed.

And the SE Box that is being shown is also a prototype.

But like JJax and Max said, the box could be white and black with times new roman font that says Halo 2, nothing on the back or front besides that, and I would still buy it and play it.
